Where most founders start
Calendly turns availability into a link: it checks connected calendars, books the slot, sends reminders and can take payment through Stripe. We've built booking into a coaching platform and a mentoring marketplace, and integrated Calendly into a client portal where it fit best.
What your v1 needs first
Booking inside a product
Coaches set their calendars, clients book 1:1 sessions and reminders go out on their own. Booking sits next to your courses and payments, not in a separate tool.
Matching before booking
Sometimes who people book matters as much as when. We build the matching first, such as finding a mentor by university, then booking and sessions inside the platform.
Or plug Calendly in
When booking supports a bigger product, connecting Calendly is often smarter. Bookings and payments plug into your app, so the build goes into what makes you different.
Calendars and time zones
Real availability means syncing with Google or Outlook calendars, handling time zones and buffers, and never double-booking a slot. We get that right first.
How it works
- 01
Scope the v1 (week 1)
On free calls we agree the one flow your v1 has to prove and fix scope and price before you pay. Week 1: data model and architecture.
- 02
Build it (weeks 2-5)
Availability, booking, reminders and payments, with working software every week. The engineer building it is the one on your calls.
- 03
Launch and support (week 6 on)
We ship to production, hand over the code, docs and credentials, and stay on for 6 weeks of support as the first bookings come in.
Starting at $12,000
A booking app v1 is an MVP Sprint: fixed scope and fixed price, agreed before the build. Sprints start at $12,000. Only need booking inside an existing product? A single integration starts at $1,000: see API integrations.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to build an app like Calendly?
A focused v1 is an MVP Sprint, live in 5-6 weeks. Sprints start at $12,000, and we fix the final price with you upfront, based on calendar sync, payments and team scheduling. Only need it inside an existing product? A single integration starts at $1,000.
Should we build scheduling or use Calendly?
Build it if booking is your product or has rules no tool supports. If it is a side feature, we integrate Calendly, as we did for a client portal. We do both.
Can people pay when they book?
Yes. Taking payment at booking is a common way to cut no-shows. We have built Stripe payment for coaching packages right alongside the booking flow.
Do we own the code?
Yes, 100%. You own the code, infrastructure, docs and credentials.
