How we move a Bubble app to Supabase
Every record, past the export cap
Bubble's Data API stops at 50,000 items per request on most plans, so we export in Created Date windows and rehearse until every row count matches in Postgres.
Privacy rules become RLS
Bubble privacy rules and Supabase row level security do the same job with opposite defaults. We rewrite every rule as a policy and test it before any client connects.
No password resets
Bubble keeps passwords out of its exports, so we pre-create every account in Supabase and move each password the first time that user logs in. Nobody gets a reset email.
Cutover without a freeze
Files move to Supabase Storage, a delta sync on Modified Date catches the last changes, then traffic switches. Your app keeps running and shipping until that moment.

How much does a Bubble to Supabase migration cost?

Do users have to reset their passwords?
